What is a narrow network (health plans)?

Health insurance plans with lower premiums and a more limited choice of providers. Plans must meet certain regulations, like having enough network providers in different specialties and throughout the geographic area. Additionally, there must be enough providers to deliver the benefits the plan promises its members.
